Last month members of the Tucson, Arizona community came together to run and walk in the Fleet Feet Veterans Day Half Marathon, 5K and TMC for Children’s Fun Run. The event featured a salute to veterans, an anthem by the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Color Guard, mini flags for each runner as they finished, live on-course musicians, free breakfast and cheerleaders. The TMC for Children’s Fun Run in particular offered obstacles and fun run challenges for children aged 2 to 9 who wished to participate. The event took place on the Sabino High School football field.

Keeping Children's Feet Healthy
Having healthy feet in childhood can help prevent medical problems later in life, namely in the back and legs. As children grow, their feet require different types of care from birth to school-age.
Although babies do not walk yet, it is still very important to take care of their feet.
As a toddler, kids are now on the move and begin to develop differently. At this age toddlers are getting a feel for walking, so don’t be alarmed if your toddler is unsteady or ‘walks funny’.
As your child gets older, it is important to teach them how to take care of their feet
